What is Global Hack Week September 2023?
Global Hack Week is a week-long hacker festival. You can expect to complete challenges, hear about BIG community announcements, chat at hacker hangouts, enjoy fun live sessions, build technical projects, and make new memories.
You are in for an adventure featuring workshops, fun mini-events, challenges, panels, and more. These will help you to earn experience points no matter what level of hacking you are at, whether it’s writing your first lines of code or creating a multi-faceted project.
We'll have challenges, live technical sessions with MLHers, mini-events galore, and some cool content from our partners! Here’s a sneak peek:

What is a Guild? How can I be a part of it?
One of the best parts of our community is that it allows people to meet and make connections with others, regardless of where you live. guilds are smaller communities within Major League Hacking. Whether you come in with a guild or not, you won’t be hacking alone.
Who organized Global Hack Week?
Global Hack Week is organized by Major League Hacking (MLH). It is our mission to empower hackers worldwide by providing them with the tools, resources, and opportunities they need to succeed.
Requirements
Your challenge submission must be completed within the submission period.
When relevent, your code must be available in some sort of public repository.
If you're continuing work on an old project, you MUST specify in your Devpost what was worked on 1) before this day of Global Hack Week September 2023 and 2) during this day of Global Hack Week September 2023.

Hack with hardware
Whether or not you have hardware at home, we want you to explore a hardware hack. Check out an emulator or use hardware you have around your house.

Ever wanted to build on Google Assistant? You can build your very own Google action to do anything you'd like and make your life easier.
Explore webscraping
We know hackers always want to learn web scraping at hackathons, so we want to encourage you to explore this subject during GHW. You can watch tutorials, follow guides, or build something yourself- it’s totally up to you and as long as you learn something about web scraping, it counts! Make sure to tell us about what you learned - the “project” can even be code from a tutorial you followed!
Create a Brand Concept
Calling all artists and designers! For this challenge, we want you to imagine a fictional company and create a branding concept for it. You can make this as detailed or simple as you’d like. You could make logos, flyers, a website mockup, social posts, or anything else you need your fictional company might use!

Play and Learn with TwiloQuest
To complete the weekly challenge, simply download TwilioQuest, join the leaderboard, and play at least one mission. If you want to be in with a chance of winning a special TwilioQuest prize pack, rank top 5 in the leaderboard. Check out this guide to learn more.
